About Doctor
Dr. Moss is a full-spectrum ophthalmologist with specialized expertise in cataract, corneal, and LASIK surgery. His interests include no-stitch cataract surgery, including premium lens implants, as well as complex and difficult cataract procedures. He performs all varieties of corneal transplants, both full thickness and partial thickness transplants (DALK, DSAEK, DMEK). He also has extra training in refractive surgery, including LASIK and PRK. His practice also includes comprehensive eye exams, diabetic evaluations, pterygium surgery, glaucoma management including lasers and microinvasive glaucoma implants.
Dr. Moss was born in Milwaukee, and attended the University of Wisconsin for undergraduate studies and medical school. After an internship at St. Francis hospital in Evanston, he completed his residency at the University of Chapel Hill in North Carolina, where he was elected the Chief Resident during his final year. Following that, he completed a one year cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the prestigious Baylor Eye Institute in Texas, where he learned the most cutting edge cataract, LASIK, and corneal surgical techniques. Dr. Moss joined Ophthalmology Associates in 2013, where he has worked hard to provide the best possible care to each individual patient.
His wife Becky is a veterinarian on the north side of Milwaukee, and they have 3 kids that keep them busy in their free time. He also enjoys playing piano, bicycling, and surfing the frigid waters of Lake Michigan.

Saw Dr. Hart Moss for my yearly check up. Always enjoy going to the office on Loomis Av as the staff is very friendly and professional as is Dr. Moss. Everyone there makes going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend them.

Very good other than the long wait.Dr Moss is Excellent and explains things very clearly. I’ve had a complicated history with my eye and it’s obvious that he really cares about the outcome of whatever procedure he has recommended.
As far as wait time, I can put up with that in order to have a Dr with Dr Moss’ competence see me.

Staff are very friendly and efficient. Dr. Moss is amazing. My husband was misdiagnosed at another eye dr. Dr. Moss saw him, saw damage to his eye and referred him to a Retina specialist. The result is he had plaque in his eye that broke off from his artery. We went on a journey of several surgeries to correct blockage and finally heart surgery. Without this diagnosis from Dr. Moss and his team, my husband could have died! I will forever be grateful.

Dr. Moss and his team provide thorough and excellent care. The results of my examination were explained understandably and my questions were answered. Dr. Moss and all of the team are friendly and professional. In the past I have had long wait times, but not this time. I am willing to wait for this level of care, but patients should be aware when booking appointments.

Dr. Moss, his entire office and surgicenter teams are absolutely the BEST! Dr. Moss listens attentively and genuinely cares about his patients, The office team at the front desk, all the highly skilled technicians, the surgery schedulers, the surgery center Nurses & staff, and the billing department staff are friendly, kind, professional, skilled, helpful and caring. Great experience and I'm happy and blessed my PCP referred me to Dr Moss for cataract consultation.
